Back in the Loo, One Last Time (Hopefully)

So I'm back in Waterloo again now. I'm living right across from the GoodLife on Columbia with Elaine, Kevin and Derek. The place is quite nice and clean. Much thanks go out to Mr. Au for finding the place. I would say the only drawback is that the rooms are a little small. Someone had the bright idea of putting the top bunk of a bunk bed above a desk in each room to save space. I've bumped my head against the bed 3 times already! Derek is currently leading all of us with 8 shots to the head. :) Feel free to give me a call at (519) 880-1337. Derek was quick to point out that it's 880-leet in H4x0r speak. If you don't know what I'm talking about, then clearly j00 c4N7 7357 mI 1337 H4x0r 5k1Llz D00D.

At IBM, I was getting quite addicted to the tea that they have at the Tim Horton's there. They actually have free tea at IBM as well, but I'm somehow still compelled to pay for Tim Horton's tea anyway. Someone at work remarked, "I don't get it, doesn't free always beat not-free?" It seems as though my mild addiction has found me in Waterloo as well. I live right across the street from a Tim's. I guarantee that I'll be hopped up on caffeine come exam time.

Christine's working in California for Hotmail this term. :) I'm sure she'll have a blast and I'll probably visit her during reading week. This will be the first time she's left Canada since she was an infant, so hopefully it'll probably be really nice for her to travel a bit. I'm planning to use Voice over IP to chat with her because long distance is so expensive. Have you experimented with VoIP before? Do you have any suggestions for me regarding what software or provider to use? I'm really interested in a program called Skype? It's created by the same people who did Kazaa. It's basically VoIP through peer-to-peer connections. I've heard that call-quality is excellent as a result. I haven't actually used it yet though. If you try it, my Skype username is jasonyiin.
